Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy are you an atheist? The concept of supernatural forces doesn't make any sense to me, although I understand why religion is so pervasive. People don't like to think of the idea that someday they will no longer exist. Belief in an afterlife or reincarnation helps them to avoid thinking about such an ominous and unknowable notion. Also, in most countries, there is tremendous social pressure to conform to religious dogma. It was only a few centuries ago that people were burned at the stake for being heretics, or even for following the "wrong" religious dogma.
Why do you consider yourself bisexual? I believe that the spectrum of human sexuality is far more complicated than being straight or gay. I prefer the Kinsey Scale concept, which views sexual orientation as a degree of responsiveness rather than an either-or condition.
Why are you an expatriate? You've probably heard the old adage "Love it or leave it". I left it.
